My husband and I purchased Skydive Danielson in 2013. When we bought this company it came with just one little airplane that held four skydivers and flew up to 10,000 ft. By the middle of our first season, we quickly realized that one airplane was not enough and we obtained a second airplane to accommodate our growing dropzone.
While our lift capacity doubled, then tripled with a 3rd plane in 2015, it still was not enough to keep up with the growing demand of skydivers who wanted to jump at Skydive Danielson.
Skydive Danielson has won "The Best Skydive Center in the USA" Award for the past 3 years and it shows. We just kept maxing out every skydiving airplane we added to our fleet. We needed a solution to our growing demand of skydivers.
Skydive Danielson is excited to announce the arrival of our new airplane. This airplane is a Cessna 208 Caravan. It holds 14 skydivers and flies to altitudes of 14,000 ft. When you skydive from 14,000 ft you are in freefall for 60 seconds at 120 mph. This is the highest tandem skydive you can go on without using supplemental oxygen to breathe! The altitude on our tandem skydives are the highest in the CT, MA and RI area.

Our licensed skydivers that call Skydive Danielson their home dropzone are chomping at the bit. This extra altitude gives our skydivers an extra 30 seconds of freefall time to play in the sky. While 30 seconds may not seem like a lot of time to non-skydivers, to an experienced skydiver 30 seconds is a HUGE difference.
