Safety Day and Free Refresher Ground School

United States Parachute Association dropzones hold their annual Safety Day during the month of March. In addition to Safety Day, Skydive Danielson added a free AFF Ground School Refresher for the students in our AFF program from 2014. This will help to get back on track early for the 2015 skydiving season. Special guest speaker Taylor Cole from the US Parachute Team gave a presentation on wraps and entanglements that was very informative. Other presenters talked about airplane safety, landing pattern and off field landings, glider traffic safety, malfunction reviews and how to plan and execute safe and successful skydives. Everyone that attended has reviewed safety protocol to help ensure that we have a safe 2015 skydiving season.
